The new calves collection center at Karpaten Meat Trading

Last year Karpaten Meat has completed the construction of a new stable for the new farm destined for fattening cattle. This construction is an open barn, made out of concrete and timber with a capacity to house around 500 cattle. This farm will operate as a collecting center for pure Angus calves or crossbred Angus calves with Romanian Simmental. In this new establishment calves will be quarantined, weighed, vaccinated and selected and than distributed to other stables for their finishing stage of production. Altana farm with all establishments has a total capacity of 1,000 heads, this center being the third of Karpaten Meat stations. Every Friday farmers can deliver calves to this farm.
