To support responsible production, our actions to protect the environment cover several directions such as <a href=\"https:\/\/karpaten-meat.com\/en\/the-group\/agriculture\/\">agriculture<\/a>, grazing, manure or water management. In all these branches, Karpaten Meat farm is authorized and certified to European standards, by the approved institutions in our country, respecting all the criteria of cross-compliance. Besides, the entire system is constantly and thoroughly checked by our partners in Switzerland and Germany, to ensure that all quality criteria are met during beef production.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>To support a strong and environmentally friendly agriculture, Karpaten Meat produces naturally obtained cereals. The pastures and land we cultivate are of high natural value, respectively the indigenous plant species thrive and are preserved over time, maintaining the characteristic biodiversity of the H\u00e2rtibaci Valley.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/karpaten-meat.com\/en\/breeding\/\">Angus cattl<\/a>e not only resist in a semi-wild environment, taking advantage of the elements of natural vegetation present on pastures, without the need for artificial structures (they need minimal intervention to ensure the minimum necessary of shade and water and protection against wind and rain) but they even exploit resources such as grass, helping to regenerate it by cutting it, not ripping it off.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The main fodder of Angus cattle is grass and hay. Just over two-thirds of the entire arable land of Romania, it consists of green grazing land that is used for breeding cattle. These are often steep or at altitudes too high to be used for other agricultural productions, but Angus cattle can harness these pastures as feed for high-quality fodder.
