INFORMATION NOTE

REGARDING THE PROCESSING OF THE PERSONAL DATA

 

We fulfil the data controller quality, as according to the (EU) Regulation 2016/ 679 of the European Parliament and Council dated 27.04.2016, regarding personal data protection. Within this meaning, we collect and process personal data. The present note will explain the way in which your personal data are being used and the scope to which they are used.

 

We comply with the legal provisions regarding personal data protection and apply technical and organizational measures to protect all operations, which directly or indirectly concern these personal data, which prevent illegal or unauthorised processing as well as the illegal or accidental losses or destructions.

 

THE PURPOSE AND LEGAL GROUND OF DATA PROCESSING

Personal data information are considered to be: name/ surname; personal identification number; email address; telephone number, the job position title and the company where you work, etc.

 

These data are processed according to the business activity undertaken by the company: animal breeding and their merchandising, the processing and marketing of meat products as well as any other activity which our company is licensed to perform according to the law.

 

The data are necessary for:

-contractual purposes (in order to sign and execute agreements/ contracts specific to the company’s business activity)

-legal purposes (in order to fulfil the legal obligations taken up by the company)

-marketing purposes (information regarding the new products/ services; event invitations; interviews/ articles; grating of fidelity benefits and for the constant quality improvement of the offered services and products)

 

The processing of the data to other ends than those stipulated will be done only via your express consent in this aspect.

 

DATA COLLECTION AND PROCESSING PERIOD

The Company declares that it will operate only those data which are necessary for the fulfilment of the specific purpose and are collected and processed only during the contractual period, respectively until all contractual obligations have expired, after which will be archived for the legal term.

 

DATA SOURCES AND METHODS OF PROCESSING

The data are obtained, in part, directly from you – our contractual partners, and in part form public sources.

The data processing will be done by compliance with the minimum security specifications in order to prevent the unauthorised usage or access to these data and to prevent security breaches to personal data according to the applicable legislation. Your data will be subject to a decision-making process (here including profit increase) necessary to conclude and execute the contract(s). Within this meaning we have implemented corresponding measures to protect your legitimate rights, liberties and interests, with the right to human intervention to express your point of view and object to the decision.

 

The individuals/ entities who/which undertake personal data processing operations have stipulated in their employment contract/ job description file, a confidentiality clause, and proceed to processing the data in accordance with internal procedures set up in this purpose.

 

DATA RECIPIENTS

In order to undertake the activities stipulated by the contract/ agreement, and to fulfil the legal obligations and that of the marketing objectives, we will communicate these data to third parties or assignees, companies within the group or third party companies, public authorities. We intend to transfer your data to the attention of third party states or international organisations.

 

THE RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECTS

The Regulation awards several rights to the individuals whose data are being processed (the right to access the adherent personal data; the right to rectification of inexact or incomplete data; the right to data erasure in certain circumstances; the right to restrict certain processing operations as the case may be during the period of time that allows for the verification of the data accuracy; the right to object the processing operations in certain cases; the right to annul your consent for the personal data processing which you have previously given; the right to notice if any breach is registered concerning the data security by the controller, as well as the right to data portability within the meaning of data transfer to other controllers designated by you. Moreover, you have the right to submit a complaint with the Surveillance Authority.
