AGROMALIM IS OVER, SEE YOU AT AGRALIM
At the end of last week was held in Arad, the 29th edition of the International Fair of Agriculture, Food Industry and Packaging – Agromalim, organized by the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture of Arad County.
The long awaited moment of the Angus cattle farms was the “Adopt a Young Farmer” program coordinated by the Aberdeen Angus Romania Association. The final of the contest and the award of the three winners brought a large audience interested in this type of business and those who actively contribute to the development of high-quality genetics in Aberdeen Angus in Romania. The most valuable prize was offered by Karpaten Meat, to Mrs. Ionela Prutan from Caraş Severin, 1st place winner.
As the future of this sector depends heavily on the next generation of farmers and the involvement of young people in animal husbandry, the Karpaten Meat Group, together with the Aberdeen Angus Association and its members, support the long-term initiative to encourage novices. We want this project initiated at Agromalim to become a long-term project based on which our future partners gain enthusiasm, knowledge and confidence that they will be able to ensure the good development of Aberdeen Angus cattle farms.
Following the success of the presence of the Karpaten Meat Group in Arad, where farmers were very interested in the sale and purchase of the Angus cattle, as well as the partnership programs on which they could plan future farm operations and efficient management, a new fair is awaiting us this week in Iasi.
Agralim, Moldova’s largest agricultural fair, will take place this year in September 20-23. The 10th edition of this fair is a good opportunity for farmers in the North-East region, and beyond, to get the latest news from funding specialists on funding and funding mechanisms, legislation and farm yields.
Along with our team there will be an Agricover representative at the fair. In this way, visitors will be able to find out all the details of the funding offer but will, in particular, be able to discuss them in time to find the right solution according to their needs and wishes.
