A new edition of the Indagra trade fair, the largest agro-food fair in Romania, took place last week at Romexpo, Bucharest. The Karpaten Meat Group was present among the exhibitors this time as well and created opportunities for meetings and discussions on diverse topics of interest in the field.


During the 5 days of the fair, we had the pleasure of making acquaintance with different farmers interested in the potential and benefits of raising Angus cattle or with developers interested in the possibility of working with Karpaten Meat, not only in Romania but also in neighboring countries such as Bulgaria . If the first of our visitors were pleasantly impressed by our partnership programs that facilitate the development of partner farms, the latter have appreciated the organization of our farm which this year celebrates 10 years since its establishment and 10 years since it has been organising each stage of the process, in order to close the production chain within the country.



Our whole system was created to complete the Angus beef production process in Romania, from the reproduction, breeding and marketing of animals to the production and marketing of Angus beef; that is why we were also present at Indagra Food 2018.



Our stand this year was composed of both the area dedicated to the management of a farm and cattle breeding, but also included a space dedicated to Premium Angus beef. We were pleasantly surprised by the curiosity of our visitors and their interest in our products, but we also enjoyed seeing a more open audience at the online store www.premiumangus.ro , people interested in consuming a premium, tasty and especially healthy beef.



Our presence at the fair attracted specially through the 3 tastings of the famous steaks and burgers, cooked right on our stand within the fair. Bone in Rib Eye, Rump steak and burger were, one by one, stars of a tasting session and captured visitors, occasioning talks on the possibility of buying and preparing Angus beef.



Another event within the fair, the “Centenary of Romanian Products”, took place in the form of conferences dedicated to the agro-food sector and related fields, aiming the development and promotion of products made in Romania. Iulian Stancu, director of the meat department within the Karpaten Meat Group, speaker at the conference, approached the topic of getting a quality product through an entire process, fully controlled.
